Oh my gosh guys!! I am so inspired! I really want to work my way up to running the St. George Marathon....in 2 years! I think I can. I think I can. Mel and I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer at mile 17 this morning. What an awesome experience! I loved seeing the runners and cheering them on! I am so grateful for the new things that I'm getting to do everyday.

KOLOB!!!
Just got back from an amazing "mini vaca" with Mel and my new best friend, Roxie (mel's pup)! So relaxing. We left Friday around 3 pm and got to Kolob campsite around 5, set up camp, cooked amazing "hobo" dinners and then went on a little hike and explored. We played some cards, some DS, hiked, ate, explored, ate and explored some more! Loved it! It was perfect weather and so beautiful! I'm so grateful for Mel! What a wonderful friend to take me on all these "adventures."

Another adventure with Mel :)
Man! I am loving this new lifestyle! But, it wouldn't be near as fun if it wasn't for Mel! :) She's always taking me to new places...today, Saturday, we went to the farmer's market at Tuachan and then went on a little hike up Anasazi Valley. Mel always knows the best places to go! I LOVE IT and I LOVE THIS GIRL!!!!

That's what friends are for...
I am so grateful for my best friend Heather Anne! She's an absolutely beautiful person inside and out and I can't imagine my life without her in it. I was able to go visit her in Vegas over Labor Day weekend and boy was it needed...I love her so much and have missed her terribly! Starting school has been such an overwhelming experience that visiting Heather was just what I needed to refocus and feel like I could do it! Thanks for the fun and for the late night chats sis! You're amazing! Love you girl!
MY ROCK!!!
It's been a rough couple of weeks trying to juggle starting school full time and still trying to eat good and continue to lose weight. I didn't think it would be this difficult but it's definetly kicking my BUTT!! The only things that keep me going are this AMAZING group of people below and my WONDERFULLY patient, loving, intense, psychotic, caring trainer! All of my friends at bootcamp have been such an inspiration and are what keep me going when I want to quit! THANK YOU!!! A shout out to Corinne is needed! We're going to miss you Cor! Good luck in SLC! :)
My bootcamp family!

Before and Afters...I'm gettin crafty!
Here are a few of the remodeling projects I've been working on...well, I guess I should say my friend Melissa and I have been working on! Melissa, one of my amazing friends here in St. George, went garage saleing on a saturday morning on the hunt for a bookshelf and struck gold. It started out black and after a lot of work it ended up a beautiful red! I love it! Also, I had some old frames that were black that I painted a deep red and made a fabric picture to put in the middle. I just love turning "junk" into "treasure!" Thanks Mel!!
Place I call home!
It's that time again...
Well...as you can see folks I haven't update my blog in well over...well, awhile! Sorry about that. TONS has happened...tons! It's been the most amazing 6 months and I'm excited to see what's ahead. In March I was driving to Vegas to visit my friend Heather and on the way decided to stop in St. George to visit Rob and Staci, while there I had this overwhelming feeling that I should move back to St. George. I quickly blew off the feeling and got back in my car and headed toward Vegas, while driving I had the feeling again and started crying...I know, I NEVER cry ;) but...I did and made the decision then and there to take a huge leap of faith and do it! So...I visited Heather for a few days and just never went back to Orem. Rob and Staci, two of my very close friends, let me camp out at their house for a few weeks while I found a job and a place to live. I was blessed to find a job in a few days and an apartment in a month. It's been a whirlwind of emotions and everyday brings something new but I've loved it and have loved meeting new friends. I recently just quite my job at the doctors office to go to Dixie State full time to get my nursing degree. Classes started last week and I'm already stressed to the max...we'll see if I can handl this! :) I'm so grateful for amazing friends and family who have been there to pick me up when I've fallen.
One more big thing...I consider this a bonus for moving here to St. George! One of my close friends, Martha, has been training me, well, kicking my butt, every morning and keeping a close eye on what I eat throughout the day and because of her persistence and her ability to put up with my mood swings I've been able to lose almost 50 pounds!!!!! It's so exciting!!!!! I have never felt better and feel like a totally different Ang! It's amazing and owe it all to my amazing support system! A personal shout out to Marth and Melissa! You've been my rock girls! LOVE YOU BOTH!!! I'll post pictures soon...soon as in when I reach my goal weight! haha heres a sneak peak though....

We kicked butt! We didn't even tip over! (Mom and dad did) ;) We had a blast as a family!
